You can leave home without your phone, but not without your brows! Did you know brows are the most important part of your makeup routine? Not only do they frame your face, but they make a huge difference when it comes to the outcome of your look!

Whether you prefer a bold brow or you like a more natural look, finding the right shape is a crucial step of the perfect brow process!

To avoid over-plucking and as a basic time saver, we recommend getting them professionally shaped every couple of weeks to keep them in their best shape. Not only will this cut your morning makeup routine down, but it’ll make it so much easier for you to fill them in.

Now, onto the fun stuff!

Define your desired eyebrow shape by holding a pencil point up and vertical against your nose to see where your eyebrow should begin.

Apply a clear brow gel. People usually do this as the last step, but it will help keep your brows from slipping off your face as the product has something to stick to! It’s really important if you rely on a lot of product filler, especially on the tail end of the brow.

Whether using a brow powder or brow pencil, choose a shade similar to your hair color.

Use a brow pencil to draw a defined line underneath your brow. This part of the brow should look the most precise whereas the rest should look natural.

Next, draw another line above your eyebrow, but only on the outer part, starting at your arch. Concentrate the brow product on defining the tail end of your brow.

Using short dash-like stroke to mimic your natural hairs, softly fill in any sparse areas with a pencil.

Use the spoolie end of the pencil or brush to pull the color up and through the brows. This will blend any harsh lines.

Apply brow powder on an angled brush and fill out the outer ¾ of the brow.

Without adding any additional product, use what product is left on the brush to wiggle the brush back and forth on the inner brow. This allows for a more natural finish.

After you’ve filled in your eyebrows, with a small brush define your shape by tracing tightly underneath and above your brow with a highlighter, creating a contrast and definition that allows eyes to stand out.

Take a clean brush and blend highlighter thoroughly.

Apply a bright eyeshadow to the brow bone as a highlight, for a sculpted eyebrow look and viola, your perfect brows are done!
