From its modest beginnings on a street front location on Devon Ave in Chicago, Salon Rupa has steadily grown to 10 locations in the Chicago land area with a recent addition of 4 locations in Houston and Dallas. Salon Rupa with an eye towards a global brand aspires to be the leader in the brow shaping business with an ultimate goal of franchising its business throughout USA.

Rima Khan

Rima is a fusionist and an expert beauty artist. She has in a unique way developed an eyebrow threading methodology and her book Threading Culture is in the works, which also highlights ancient eastern beauty techniques. Rima has appeared in radio talk shows showcasing eastern beauty. Moreover, Rima has applied her makeup talent on many models in several fashion shows.

Rima has more than 10 years of management experience

She is responsible for overall salon operations.

After working behind the chair for several years she heads the company’s training program. She has developed the unique Salon Rupa technique and training program for students in the art of Threading. She hires and trains newly licensed technicians at Rupa’s locations.

Mohsin Khan

Director

As a Management director Mohsin is responsible for the legal aspects of the company’s operations as well as its systems and structure. He maintains the organization’s board, mentoring, performance management, he has established and is maintaining systems to support state employee regulations, guides and performance standards. Organizing the flow of estate and financial records, maintenance of all accounts payables and receivables, purchasing, budget management, financial goals and projections.
